catcher in the rye chapter 2

In this chapter i feel like Holden doesn't care enough. His low grades do not bother him. He seems to be stressed alot because he sais that he has gray hairs. Holden often has small reflections about random things. Each reflection concluded with a general statement saying that "everybody" is something or does something.
