catcher in the rye- chapter 17

Holden thinks that women are married to men that don't deserve them. Holden sais that actors are "phonies" and that alot of the kids that went to Pencey with him were phonies. He wants to run away with Sally now, rather than waiting until after college, because he doesn't want to go home to his parents. I think he is afraid of his parents' reactions to him getting kicked out of Pencey Prep.
